Hello and welcome to this tutorial on how to verify your PayPal account using your Equity Bank Visa or MasterCard.

Today I want to walk you through this simple process of verifying your PayPal account.
It's the most important thing that you needto do on your PayPal account because if you don't verify your PayPal account you willnot be able to make any transactions,
and it also helps to lift any form of limits on your account that may be set on you by PayPal.
For my account, I've been having this account for the past five years but the card that I was using, a Nakumatt Global card,
expired and I needed to add a new card to this account. What you have to do is that you have to go to Equity Bank,
get a MasterCard or a Visa card and with the card they will always almost instantly give you an E quitel mobile phone line.
This is very good because instead of going to the bank to en quire for your confirmation code or how much was deducted from your account,
For the card to be linked ensure that you have at least an amount of about 300 K shs loaded onto your Equity Bank Visa or MasterCard.
The reason is PayPal deducts some amount to verify that you are who you say you are.
Therefore, you always need to have at least an amount.
You can even put about 1000 K shs on your card at least for the verification process.
What I need to do for this is I need to b e logged in to my account, that is if you have an account with PayPal,
and for this to work all you have to do is just add a bank account or card.
The good thing with Equity is Equity Bank is supported by PayPal and therefore you can decide to either add your bank to the system so that you can be transacting from PayPal to Equity,
and it takes roughly three to five days depending on the day you've done your transaction.
The other important thing is that for your account to be fully verified,
my account is halfway verified as you can see with the green on my profile picture,
for it to be 100% you need to link your card. So,
it helps in completeness or the holistic part of your account to be complete.
What you need to do is just click on Add a bank or card,
and for this process I just want to link a card to my account.
I'll just click on Link a Card and the type of card I'll be using is a Visa and all I need to do is just enter the card number and then I enter the expiration date and the CSC digits.
They're always at the back of the card,
and then ensure that my address is correct.
Once I enter my card number and the expiration date of my card, I'll just click on Save because that's all you need to do.
And instantly I click on Save a message is sent to my mobile number,
my E quit el mobile number,
and it shows a confirmed successful reversal of a dollar for the card. And if you can look at my account, it's totally green around my profile picture and that shows that my account has been linked or has been verified by PayPal. It shows what card you're using and the last digits on the card.
